clean and spicy, with orange peel & coriander seed. our wheat beer is unfiltered, and unbeatable on a hot summer day. winner of the 2004 peoples choice award at the newport microbrew festival.
a multiple award winner at the great american beer festival in 1994 & 1995. medium bodied, yet slightly dry, with a nice hoppy middle, and roasted finish.
first brewed for the british troops in the 1800s, extra hops and alcohol helped preserve the beer for the long voyage around the cape of good hope. oregon trail ipa faithfully adheres to this old brewing tradition. this malty flavored, copperhued india pale ale is balanced with generous amounts of nugget and centennial hops. a hop-lovers delight.

as the name implies, this robust porter is infused with american, korean, siberian, & tienchi ginseng for an earthy, rooty finish.
this wonderfully crisp, light-bodied ale is beaver orange in color. its smooth finish makes it a great session beer year round.
oregon trail bourbon barrel porter is as big as the west, masterfully brewed in the true pioneer spirit. this robust porter is aged in kentucky oak bourbon barrels. the result is a pitch-black brew, rich with oaky smoothness, bold bourbonesque aroma, with hints of fruit and vanilla.
our interpretation of a german-style rauchbier is less smoky than the traditional version but maintains its old-style characteristics in every other sense.
Do you make an old world rye bread/german??
Old World Deli has a large menu of available sandwiches, chili, soups and other items. The sandwiches are made with fresh ingredients and are tailored to your specific requests. As a bonus, the sandwiches are boxed with tortilla chips. We enjoyed our experience here and recommend the sandwiches for anyone wanting to eat inside a nostalgic seating area or as a carry out lunch on the go. Great place and friendly staff!
MoreLove old world deli. If you want an experience that shows you old school Corvallis, don't miss the old world deli. The sandwiches are great, and the pie is too. But there's something just a little bit more you get when you go there. It's a small taste of what Corvallis used to be like. Go and enjoy.
MoreGreat food at a fair price. Loved the Meatless Wonder sandwich.
Great food and nice atmosphere in the large historic building.
Great little place. The ambiance is magical. We are so excited to try more of their food. The meatloaf sandwich was fantastic. The split pea soup was a bit of a miss, but maybe we can team up to improve upon that? I love soup! We will be back!
MoreSuch an enjoyable environment for all the world. You can feel the market Street cobble stones of a different time as you let yourself melt into the delicious savory food that seems like it isn't there at first. The chili shockingly converted my girlfriend into a chili fiend as well as the soup and salad deal ! Such a delightful place , we will be back !
MoreAmazing owner and service, thanks Ted. From your grandaughter’s (C) best friend.
MoreI've always loved this place. Always something to look at and the food is good.
Wonderful deli style food. Their Ginseng Porter is wonderful. The owner is warm and caring and the Deli crew are great. And...... Every first Saturday of the month there is a belly dance show put on by the Mid-Valley Belly Dance Collective. 7 pm to 9 pm. And it is family-friendly.
MoreWe have been eating here for years, and they don't disappoint. The Reuben was delicious with a great combination of sour in the bread, kraut, and yummy dill pickle slices. If the bread isn't made in-house, they certainly fooled me. It could be better if it were toasted rather than microwaved which softens the bread a bit too much. The brownies, almost more cake than brownie, are the primary reason we come to the deli; very delicious with a chocolate chip topping. Great food, with always fast friendly service... you can't go wrong!
MoreTed the owner of The Old World Deli Is a wonderful, kind, and gracious soul. The staff are always friendly and hard working. The atmosphere at the deli is so unique to our town of Corvallis. The food is made fresh daily and their sandwiches are the best in town. Goes well with a glass of Oregon Trail beer that’s situated in the building. The deli is family friendly and there is year round entertainment.
MoreAbsolutely awesome service and amazing sandwiches. Couldn’t be happier enough and the atmosphere was so cute and welcoming. I’m definitely coming back and getting my sandwiches here from now on!
MoreIt’s a hazy Saturday outside, rained this morning, but broke into blue skies. Our moods brightened with the weather and we were ready for an afternoon beer. We stumbled upon this deli/wine tasting room/brewery/art museum that seems to have come straight out of the European town in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. A few regulars are coloring and enjoying a cinnamon roll. It’s spacious. Comfortable. The man behind the counter recognized us as “newbies” right away and offered a verbal tour of the menu and facility. They have fantastic food. I had the clam chowder. They also brew their own beer. They were bottling when we stopped in. I had the IPA. It was palatable at the least. It was malty and sweet and thirst quenching at best. All around a must stop for lunch in Corvallis.
MoreMarbled rye bread with delicious pastrami to make up a Reuben sandwich as good as an old world deli on the East coast is rare to find. There is nothing inventive or new age about this Deli, which is refreshing for a change. Everything you want in an old world deli done exactly right. Want to try everything on the menu!
MoreGreat Reuben sandwich! And a bowl of some of the best chili you will taste. This place was a great find as we were passing through. So friendly to our kids as well. I would highly recommend a stop by.
MoreFriendly staff explained the ropes to me. Counter service (deli) makes delicious and huge sandwiches. I also ordered a small bowl of the minestrone soup, which I found to be really good. After the first half of the sandwich and the soup, there was no room for the second half or the brownie for that matter. Cool ambiance. I'll be back and will bring the family. The beers looked good, but wasn't able to try any.
MoreHad a great Mighty Meaty. It had been 12 years since my last one. I was very happy with the sandwich, service, and atmosphere. Recommended by Ryan: A
